201- The Way To Maturity

Four Habits Of A Disciple

#1 A Quiet Time

“If you continue in my Word then you are my disciples
indeed. And you will know the truth and the truth will
set you free”. John 8: 31-32
(Disciples continue in God’s Word)

#2 Prayer

“If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you , ask what
you wish, and it will be done for you”. My Father is glorified
by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove that you are my
disciples”. John 15:7-8 NAS
Disciples pray effectively.

#3 Giving

“So then none of you can be my disciples who does not
give up all his own possessions” Luke 14:33
A Disciple must submit everything to God. God owns
everything (Psalms 24:1). Disciples give obediently...
it’s commanded.

#4 Fellowship

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one
another, even as I have loved you; and you also love one
another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another. John 13: 34-35
(Disciples build love relationships and partner in the ministry).

301- The Way To Ministry

What God made me to be determines what He intends me to
do. God is consistent in His plan for each of us. He would
not give us talents, temperaments, spiritual gifts and many
life experiences and then not use them.

By reviewing and studying these factors, we can discover
the ministry God has for us...the unique way God intends
For us to serve Him.

“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and
some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for
the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the
building up of the body of Christ” Ephesians 4:11-12 NAS

401- The Way To Missions

The Christian’s primary ministry is to fulfill my God-given
mission.

“But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to
myself so that I may finish my course and the ministry
which I received from the Lord Jesus to testify solemnly
of the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24)

Because, fulfilling my mission brings glory to God:

Jesus said, “I glorified you on the earth,
having accomplished the work which you have given
Me to do.”
(John 17:4)
